Painted Ceiling Fan

Saw this in the most recent InStyle magazine over the weekend. While I think its super cool looking (especially the ceiling medallion), I have to say this is one project that could really piss off the future owner of your home. After living with wallpaper and paint colors that make me feel like I'm in pastel ice cream hell, I know how the previous owner's color choices can make the new owner a little queasy.
