Rainier Cherries

Last week I kept hearing about Rainier Cherries. Not a cherry fan (I like the flavor, but I have not thus far been a fan of the actual fruit), I didn't know anything about them, except that there must be a good reason why they cost $5/lb.

So I picked some up on Friday night and they are worth the hype. Sweet, sweet, sweet and very flavorful. The picture and a good article about Rainier Cherries are here.
