Garlic Dill Pickles

This past weekend we made pickles for the second time. The other time was the first summer we were dating. Our little cucumber patch keeps churning, but to make a significant amount I also picked up some cucumbers at the farmer's market.

This is the recipe we used for garlic dill pickles. Four of the five jars were put up for canning, but the big jar with the white lid went in the fridge for refrigerator pickles. Apparently that's what keeps the crunch because the pickles never get warmed up during the canning process.
