March is such a great time to get good deals on winter clothing.
While fall is good for finding last season's stuff, store sales are where the deals are right now. Speaking of fall, last November or December I picked up a Marmot Power Stretch Half Zip Fleece on Sierra Trading Post for somewhere around $40 (as opposed to $95). Not only is it the warmest fleece I've ever owned, it is incredibly lightweight. It is very fitted and tailored, nubby fleece on the inside and sort of neoprene-like on the outside.
Moral of the story is, if you see one on sale, I highly, highly recommend. Here's me wearing mine after snowmobiling in Colorado (I wore it the whole trip-skiing, walking, skating and snowmobiling).
