Lots of fall eating around here (in between dinners of cottage cheese, carrots and/or frozen pizza).
We were crazy about these cider-braised pork meatballs. The lemon zest really heightened the flavor. We ate them with roasted butternut squash.
With the leftover sage I made this pumpkin sausage pasta dish. I had unused canned pumpkin from pumpkin pancakes (add 1/3 cup pumpkin/2 cups pancake batter, plus some cinnamon and nutmeg) and some garlic chicken sausage from Trader Joe's. It was pretty good.
