Grocery Shopping Tip: Shop on Friday Afternoon

This time of year seems especially ripe with things I have to do piled on top of things I have to do, with a nice side of more things I have to do. House stuff, planning stuff, cleaning, cooking, all that domestic business. For someone who used to love grocery shopping, that is one chore that just wears me down.

Lately I've been trying to finish my grocery list making and shopping right after work on Fridays. Its not something I can do all year long given our schedule, but when I do, it really makes a big difference in how we eat over the weekend and the following week. Plus, I've knocked one thing off my never ending to-do list.

P.S., I want this knock, knock pad but I haven't found it in person.
