One Day

I'm taking a break between book two and three of the Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy, mainly because book club is next week and I want to talk about The Girl Who Played With Fire then, but also because I'm not physically prepared for another round of late nights spent reading fast and furiously. I really can't concentrate of too many other things when reading these books.

My detour away from Swedish mystery mania was One Day by David Nicholls. Perfect summer reading. I'll admit, I have a real soft spot for British authors and fiction set on the British Isles. This did not disappoint. Funny and unexpectedly poignant, its a book you want to pass onto your girlfriends and I can see why its so popular. And being made into a movie.
